“nurture”意为“滋养、养育”。在一些古老的文化里，“养育”是生活的中心，即我们是养育者，也是被养育者；人与人之间、人与社区之间、人与土地之间，都扮演着养育与被养育的角色。“nurtureland”寓意“在行动中滋养我们的土地和心灵”。我们相信：只有健康的土地，才会养育出健康的食物，也只有健康的食物才能养育出健康的人。我们希望通过行动，重建人与人之间的信任，重建人与自然的和谐。<br />

沃土工坊是一个城乡互动的桥梁，我们通过消费者的力量，鼓励小农以传统的、生态的方式进行生产和加工，保护和推广原生品质，希望可以重建农村的生态和活力。沃土工坊是一个永续生活的推动者，我们鼓励消费者行动起来，自己动手实现健康永续的生活。沃土工坊是自然教育的推崇者，我们希望孩子有一个自然的童年，帮助学校与家庭和孩子一起开展园艺活动，在与土地的接触中重建人与自然的关系。沃土工坊是一个“生活圈”，是反思现代社会、追求简单美好生活的实践者，并且希望越来越多的人，加入我们的行列。<br />

沃土工坊希望以社会企业的理念来实践社区支持农业，希望运营的盈利可以支持这项事业的持续运作，从而可以帮助到更多的人。我们相信吃到健康的食物是每一个人最基本的权利，尽力为每一个消费者提供价格合理的健康农产品。同时也希望消费者以共同购买小组的方式，来支持我们产品销售平台的运作，尽力降低运营的成本以及资源消耗。我们倡导“本地生产、本地消费”，我们相信本地化的饮食，不仅仅可以照顾到我们的生态，同时也是最有利于我们的健康，尽力通过当地的合作农户的生产来满足消费者的需求，当本地生产满足不了时才会寻找一些替代。<br />
